Senators get a C-

Why do senators and other representatives pretend to give a shit about academic achievement? I am constantly being flooded with letters from my representatives telling me "Congratulations, you must be proud!" Why am I supposed to be proud about spending hours of my life studying? I'm not exactly working towards world peace or researching a cure for AIDS. Just think about the wasted paper sent out in these letters. Save the trees, stop congratulating me... it won't influence my vote.
